• 8/8/2023 - Dr. Ferre' co-authors a new study on Nature Geosciences showing how volcanism 56 million years ago released more methane than thought.
• 8/1/2023 – Eric Ferré will serve on the Geological Society of America - Arthur L. Day Medal Award Committee as a Member-at-Large, for the three-year term 1 July 2023-30 June 2026
• 3/22/2023 - One of our undergraduate Geology students, Ms. Haley M. Benoit, has just won one of the two prestigious Leaf Undergraduate Research - Evergreen Award.
